46

This paper lies blank white
just the title
46
It's not an emptiness of thought
but an unexplainable missing part
This paper lies blank white
just the title
46
46 days since you've been gone
I glance at my Kelly mark
and keep trekking on
This paper lies blank white
This paper lies
blank white
The sensation of your touch may be gone
but the desire grows strong
For this paper once was a tree
now it expresses the growth
of you and me
This paper once was a tree
it lies blank white
and expresses the growth
of you and me

The Space Man Once Said

i want to be an explorer of space, i want to feel the energy of other planets, i want to walk amongst their skin, i want to trek from one comet to the next as if i was crossing a river, i want to explore far off galaxies, i want to see our universe's twin sister from the cliff edge. what does the end look like when all we see is blackness?

Old Poetry

The Words of A Fisherman (All I Need)

Like a tortoise without its shell
Like no fire down in hell
Like a painter without his brush
Without a canvas filled with lush
Fantasies
Dreams
And memories
All left behind in the breeze
Life
Living what you want to be
All i need is me
My pole and the sea

Tree On Display

Red, white, and golds
All my memories unfold
My laughs, cries, and nerves sometimes
Bring a smile upon this tree
This tree
This tree
This tree
It has seen and seen
Oh whats this
Im falling
Im falling fast
My thoughts are black
My visions are white
Now with this strong wind
Like a huff
I realize im just growing up

                 Ghost

I've killed people, watched them die
over this thing so fable, they struggle to survive
i'm like the needle on a mosquito
But im here when there is something youve missed
Im here
I exist
Im here in your mind
Kneel before me and youll be fine
Like this ghost at sea
You just have to believe.

Human

Ask me where I live
         Around
Ask me how I live
         Like You
Ask me what I think
Ask me what I like
Ask me how I breathe
Ask me how I walk

Like a fallen stick among branches
    I'm still where I belong

Ask me what my name is
And soon, in time youll find
   I, name is Human

Day Dream

Look upon his stare
Ever wonder?
Look into his eyes
What do you see?
A man lost in time
A man lost within
A man thats just confused
Ever wonder?

If you asked
What would he say?
Would he answer?
Or would he not?
Maybe hes stuck
Stuck deep in a dream
A dream
A dream not yet answered
Ever wonder?

Counting Satellites

Darkness falls
                        deep violet sky
                                                 silhouetted mountain tops
rushing water
                        beneath flat rocks,
                                                              I LAY.

Nature's breath
                          comforting scent
                                                       lays upon my neck
the touch
               twisted branches,
                                                           I BREATHE.

North star
                 my night light
                                         I counted satellites
hypnosis by morpheus
                                       cuddled,
                                                           I SLEEP

Fastened eyelids
                            nature's tranquility
                                                             against my back
enduring
               visions of beauty,
                                                       I DREAM.

Soft new sun
                     creeping mist
                                            fresh morning dew
nature's yawn
                        sigh of relief,
                                                      I AWAKE.

Nature's hand
                       is in my grasp
                                               fist full of grass
her touch
               soft against my lips,
                                                          I KISS.

The Real Goodbye

Goodbye all. Ill be sure to bring home a piece of nature.

Some have asked, "why are you doing this"? I usually just answer with the easy, "because i want to, its fun", but tonight i will give a semi "real" answer.

Q: "Why you doing this?"
A: "well im looking for an experience thats out of this world. By "this world", I mean society, city life, people, the mundane.
Im looking for the magical world we see in "National Geographic" photographs. It's out there, and yes you can see it with your own eyes. Trust me, it's much better. I want to sleep on mountain tops, cliff edges, river beds, in caves, valleys, and even abandoned barns.  I want to wake up to a sunrise looking down upon earth from the clouds, seeing the beautiful colors our atmosphere produces as the sun rays bend towards us."

That is my semi answer. For follow ups with greater detail and more complete reasoning, come back and experience the journeys with me. Goodbye till next time.

Walking With Nature

as my departure date approaches i check my gear one last time, run some final test and say goodbye to family and friends. They act as if im not coming back. But im sure ill be back.  Today i found the book ill be bringing with me on my trip. Its called "Planet Walker". Its about a guy who, after an oil spill in the early 70's, decided to abandon motorized vehicles and walk everywhere. Shortly after that he took a vow of silence. He remained silent for 17 years and walked the planet for 22 years. He started in California walked North to Washington then east to Mass from there he sailed to south america where he walked all the way to the southern most tip. He calls it a pilgrimage.
I wouldnt call my trip a pilgrimage, but id say its a practice/test for my future plans for a greater trip, one so great that it could be called a pilgrimage.  My body will be tested on this trip considering im having issues with my knee, but the knee wont be the problem.  The greater test will be my mental strength, will i have the mental power to keep going even if the knee wants no more? My drive will be to see the next horizon, the next mountain top, the next stream, lake, valley, town. All this will be photographed and written about, and upon my return i hope to share all this with u.  Enjoy the month of july for i will see u all again in August.

Singing off,
Tim
